FAQ’S
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I have to book online?
A: We recommend booking online wherever possible to guarantee a peg (especially at weekends). However, day tickets can be purchased from the Tackle & Bait shop on the day subject to availability.
Q: What do I do after I’ve booked online?
A: After booking online, you will receive an email confirmation of your booking. When you arrive, you don’t need to show anyone your ticket as your name and booking will be down on our day ticket sheet. The grounds staff will come round the lakes and check day tickets with you there on the peg. If you haven’t booked online, and wish to purchase a ticket on arrival, you must do this before heading to your peg from our onsite Tackle & Bait shop, where you will be given a ticket to take to the banks for checks later.
Q: Can junior anglers fish?
A: Juniors can fish at Partridge, but if they are under 16 they must be supervised through their entire trip by an adult. Over 16s can fish on their own if they are able to safely land and net a fish. If you are under 16 and arrive to fish, please note that you will be asked to leave or return with an adult.

Q: Can I just come down for a walk around the lakes?

However, there are a selection of local walks on the public footpaths that surrounds the fishery and finish up at Partridge Lakes Cafe which is open to the public.
Q: Can I bring a dog on the lakes?
A: Starting 1st March, we will be trialling opening Ribbon Lake as our dog friendly day ticket water. You and your furry fishing buddy can enjoy a day by the water at Ribbon Lake, the ONLY lake where dogs are allowed! See rules for Ribbon lake here! Dogs are more than welcome at our Partridge Lakes Cafe which is open to the public and we also have a 5-acre dog walking field situated by the car park, that has no anglers on specificially for walkers.
