In light of the government’s recent announcement that organised sport can return, we are very excited to be reopening our gates on Thursday 3rd December. We cannot wait to see you all on the banks again next week! Below are a few updates for once we reopen.
Please note that the fishery will be reopening on Thursday as we are completing some major ground works in the car park. This was a bigger job than originally anticipated and will be completed by end of day Wednesday.
As Warrington is in Tier 2, the rules are as follows:
– Our Tackle & Bait Shop will be open along with our online shop (click & collect point is the Tackle Shop)
– The Partridge Lakes Café will be open for food & drinks, the indoor seating area is open but no mixing inside, our outdoor seating area is also open and households can mix in groups of up to 6.
Café & Tackle Shop – 7.30 am until 4.00 pm
We are delighted to welcome pleasure anglers back onto our banks. Tickets will be available to purchase on our website in advance and you can purchase tickets on the day from the Tackle & Bait Shop upon arrival subject to availability. Holbar day tickets are currently at the reduced winter price of £10 for 2 rods.
We will be putting day tickets on our website today (Thursday 26th November) for Thursday 3rd December until the end of the year.
Thankfully organised outdoor sport is once again permitted, so our matches will be starting from the 3rd December 2020. We are thrilled that our Open Matches, Winter Leagues & Christmas Matches will all be going ahead as scheduled!
You must book on for open matches via our website. We understand you may want to book on on the morning of a match mid-week, so the match tickets will be left online to book on until 7.30 am the morning of the match. For weekend matches, the tickets will be taken off at 3.00 pm the day before the match – limited weekend open match spaces will be available due to winter leagues.
All open match draws will be rolling from 8.15 am from the van on the main car park. We have removed the cones as you drive in, so please walk or drive up to the van window and your peg will be drawn for you. This will be located at the wide entrance to the outdoor seating area near the ornamental pond.
Weekend day with a winter league on – 10.00 am until 3.00 pm
We will be putting match tickets on our website today (Thursday 26th November) for Thursday 3rd December until the end of the year.
Both matches will be an 8.15 am rolling draw with the Open Match draw from the van, and the OAPs from the cabin door.
Winter Leagues
Due to the month of closure, we have missed 2 x Saturday and 2 x Sunday Teams of 4 Winter League rounds. The proposed rearranged dates are below. If these dates do not work, please could team captains get straight in touch ASAP by email info@partridgelakes.co.uk. If we do not hear anything, we will assume the new dates work for everyone.

07/03/2021 – rearranged dates
The Individual Winter League will start Sunday 6th December as planned with the same dates. Winter League pools will be paid on the day by the team captain at the door of the log cabin. The team captain will draw the pegs from 8.15 am rolling draw for his team and collect any money won on previous rounds. Individual Winter League will also be 8.15 am rolling draw from the cabin door. All Winter Leagues will be fished 10.30 am until 3.30 pm.
