Ribbon is one of Partridge Lakes’ most established waters, offering year-round action for all levels of anglers. With 20 pegs, it is a disability-friendly venue, featuring wide, wheelchair-accessible pegs and Blue Badge Holder parking directly next to the lake. It is also conveniently located near the café, tackle & bait shop, log cabin, office, and accessible toilets.
Dog-Friendly Fishing Rules
We’re excited to welcome you and your four-legged fishing companions to Ribbon Lake – our ONLY dog-friendly fishing lake! To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please follow these rules:
Dogs must be supervised and on a lead at all times.
Owners are fully responsible for their pets and must adhere to all fishery rules.
Keep it quiet – No excessive barking. Only bring well-behaved, well-socialized dogs.
Clean up after your dog – No mess left behind. Use the bins provided.
No swimming – Dogs must stay out of the water and off the edges.
No refunds if you are asked to leave due to your dog’s behavior.
Ribbon Lake is the ONLY lake where dogs are allowed – No exceptions.
Important Information:
If Ribbon Lake is full (all pegs taken & multiple dogs present), dogs cannot be taken to other lakes.
We recommend booking online in advance to guarantee your peg.

Fishing Tips & Insights:
Shallow fishing across to the cover works well, especially in summer
Best methods:
Pellet and caster into the mud holes
Caster and maggot down the track for great all-round results
Maggot or corn in deeper water for big F1s and Carp in winter
