Marsh Canal

Marsh Canal is one of our most mature lakes with 22 pegs ideal for pole fishing with the width of 11m to 14m and 6ft at its deepest and 2ft deep across the far bank where there are mudholes which over the summer attract big carp up to 12lbs, fishing pellet shallow across and tight over is a key method on Marsh along with maggot, meat and corn down the edge. There are many species in Marsh including Golden Tench which show regularly, along with Commons, Mirrors, F1s, Barbel, Bream, Perch, Roach and Rudd.

Marsh has consistently fished well all year for Day Ticket anglers. A well sheltered classic canal, Marsh is also popular for Club Matches and is considered one of the best match canals in Cheshire.

Marsh Canal is situated close to the car park giving easy access if required.
